One thing that I’m going to share with you today is something that is not normal to my videos. And the reason for that is because I always tell you guys, no Credit Karma. Well, why? Because it’s vantage 3.0, the scoring model is a little bit inflated, right? But it’s free. And you also get two credit bureaus, Equifax and TransUnion. So that being said, I’m going to tell you a little secret that I wanted to share with you guys. How to remove your derogatories electronically using Credit Karma.
Now check this out. We had a client remove 21 derogatory items in under two weeks by using this secret. I know you guys are like, I’m ready. I’m ready. I’m ready. Okay, check this out.
So here’s what I want you to do. I want you to log into your Credit Karma. If you don’t have one, sign up. It’s free, it takes you literally five minutes to sign up for it.
Once you log in, you will be able to see the six categories, right.
Your age, your utilization, how many inquiries, how many open accounts? Do you have any derogatories? We’re looking for derogatories today.
What we’re going to do is we’re going to click on, when you open it up, you’ll see two scores, okay.
You’ll see score A and score B, right?
So 600, 605, okay whatever the scores are there. Now what I want you to do is I want you to click on the score. It doesn’t matter which, we’re going to start with one, okay.
We’re TransUnion or we’re going to start with Equifax.
But if you click on the score, it will bring up the next page. And then what we’re going to do is we’re going to go down, scroll down to derogatory marks.
Okay, I want you to click there, derogatory marks.
From derogatory marks I want you to scroll all the way down and I want you to click on the account that is derogatory.
Now, you may have 1 and you may have 21 okay. But I want you to click on the actual account that is negative.
If it’s a hospital bill, you’re going to see the account reporting, okay. You click on that.
Then I want you to go to dispute right here. Dispute an error. Go to dispute an error, okay.
Now, look at it this way. There’s going to be two columns, okay.
The first column you’ll see is where it says ownership and this other column you’ll see that says accuracy.
So you’ve got ownership and accuracy. On the ownership side, okay, that’s where you’re saying out of these topics here, you’ll see that it has different categories that you can select.
You know it’s a family member, but it’s not mine, fraudulent.
You’ve got all kinds of different categories on this side.
On this side over here for the accuracy, it may be that you’re looking at something on your credit report that is not accurate.
Maybe there’s an old address on your credit report. Okay. Maybe it is that that credit limit is not reporting correctly. Maybe it is, there’s an age that is wrong. Maybe it doesn’t have any details about the credit or whatever the case is.
One side is saying, yes, it’s my account, but it’s reporting differently than it should.
The other one is saying, this is absolute, the owner is not mine whatsoever and I want it removed.
This gentleman removed 21 items from his credit report in under two weeks.
Now, if you guys want to send out letters, the more the merrier.
Go ahead and send out the letters, but I’m going to tell you something.
We have been using this tactic, is very, very fast and effective, you don’t have to waste a mail.
You don’t have to do the postage. You don’t need to a certified letter.
You don’t have to certify the mail and say, okay, you pay. All that goes away. You get right on Credit Karma and you dispute the information.
Now if anything is erroneous or it is incorrect or it’s obsolete or it’s reporting an error, challenge the information. If it’s not your account, then challenge the information right there on the site.
If it is reporting correctly and you just have, look, man, my credit limit’s supposed to be 15,000. Says 10. Whatever. Maybe it’s an address, maybe it’s an employment, whatever.
On that side over there, challenge that information over there. It’s very fast, it’s very effective and people are getting results.
Again, 21 removals in under two weeks. Guys, I don’t know of any faster way, other than the proprietary methods that we use here.
